Valensi Rose Partner and Managing Partner Michael R. Morris will moderate
the California Copyright Conference’s “Legal Eagles: Annual Music Industry
Update” panel on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

The evening discussion will be held at the Sportsmen’s Lodge Event Center,
12833 Ventura Blvd., in Studio City.

Also moderating will be Cheryl Hodgson, a Founder of Hodgson Legal and,
like Mr. Morris, a Past President of the Conference.

The panelists will include Joshua P. Binder, a Partner at Davis Shapiro
Lewit; Kent Klavens, a music attorney in private practice and formerly
Senior Vice President Business and Legal Affairs at UMPG; and Steve
Winogradsky, Founder of Winogradsky/Sobel and an author and Past President
of the Conference.

Mr. Morris is a former trial lawyer for the IRS and a certified specialist
in taxation law. His entertainment industry clients include producers,
record labels, composers, music publishers, actors, talent agencies, motion
picture companies, post-production houses and Grammy-winning recording
artists.

The Conference, established in 1953, focuses on copyright and other issues
pertaining to music and entertainment. Its members include publishers,
songwriters, composers, attorneys, music supervisors, trade publication
representatives, performing rights societies, music libraries, motion
pictures, television, multimedia, Internet, and record companies.
