Nitasha Khanna, a member of our Family Law Group, has been certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a legal specialist in the area of Family Law.

This prestigious designation is awarded through a certification program approved by the California Supreme Court, which offers attorneys the opportunity to become certified by demonstrating a high level of expertise in their practice area.

To become a certified specialist in the area of Family Law, attorneys must complete additional studies in their specialty field, pass a rigorous written specialty bar examination, and verify that they have acted as counsel in a substantial number of trials, hearings, judgments and stipulated agreements in matters involving family law.

Attorneys seeking certification must also receive favorable evaluations from other attorneys and judges familiar with the attorney's work, and the State Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization must approve each attorney’s application.

Nitasha’s practice focuses on premarital agreements, and all phases of cases involving dissolution of marriage, legal separation, paternity, and domestic violence, including child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, property division, legal discovery, and restraining orders.

She has acted as lead counsel in cases involving highly litigated child custody battles, and for clients with multi-million-dollar estates with complex support and financial issues.

Ms. Khanna has been selected to the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Star list for five consecutive years, from 2014 through 2018. She has also received the “Top Attorney” Award from Pasadena Magazine for five consecutive years, from 2011 through 2016.

Valensi Rose congratulates Nitasha on this distinguished recognition.
