Valensi Rose Managing Partner Michael R. Morris will co-lead a lunchtime program of the Beverly Hills Bar Association on April 16 focusing on key concepts and considerations for owners and their heirs within the music industry.

The title of the program is “Musical Heirs: An Overview of the Practical Issues to Consider when Drafting Estate Plans and Administering Estates of Performers, Artists, Copyright Holders and Their Heirs.”

Joining Michael will be Angela Rose White. Ms. White is an attorney, the daughter of composer David Rose, and president of Pearl Note Music Services and DaBet Music Services. She formerly was chief operating officer of David Rose Publishing, which had a catalog of over 500 songs spanning 60 years, including such hits as “The Stripper” and “Holiday for Strings.”

The program will be held at noon on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Lawry’s The Prime Rib restaurant, 100 La Cienega Boulevard, in Beverly Hills. Registration is available online.

Mr. Morris is a former trial lawyer for the IRS and a Certified Specialist in Taxation Law. His entertainment industry clients include producers, record labels, composers, music publishers, actors, talent agencies, motion picture companies, post-production houses and Grammy-winning recording artists.
