Laurie Murphy, head of the litigation practice group of Valensi Rose and a member of the firm since 1989, has been named Managing Partner of the firm, succeeding Michael R. Morris.
Laurie manages and mentors an experienced group of litigators noted for their ability to resolve complex disputes.
With degrees in civil engineering and decades of law practice, she has substantial experience spanning a broad range of legal disputes related to real estate and construction.
Laurie also handles general business litigation, as well as trust and estates litigation matters which involve real estate. She has significant court and jury trial experience, and an extensive background in alternate dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.
She is also a frequent lecturer on real estate and construction matters.
