Valensi Rose Partner Michael R. Morris has been named to the planning committee of the upcoming CalCPA Education Foundation Entertainment Industry Conference, which will be held virtually on June 22, 2021.
The CalCPA Entertainment Industry Conference, now in its 51st year, provides CPAs, business managers, attorneys, CFOs and controllers with insights and practical advice for handling entertainment business issues.
The full-day virtual event will explore the continuing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and other challenges and risks involved as newer technologies such as digital, streaming and mobile devices continue to affect the entertainment industry.

Mr. Morris is a former trial lawyer for the IRS and a certified specialist in taxation law. His entertainment industry clients include producers, record labels, composers, music publishers, actors, talent agencies, motion picture companies, post-production houses and Grammy-winning recording artists.
