Valensi Rose Partner Lynda I. Chung will present a discussion on “Money, Marriage, Debt, and Death” to the Korean American Bar Association on October 5.

The webinar, which qualifies for MCLA credit, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Registration is available at no charge.

Lynda’s presentation will address what lawyers, business owners, and others should know about the legal and financial consequences of getting married, growing old, or dying.

The program will provide business and corporate lawyers, litigators, bankers and accountants with an overview of how the community property laws in California may affect their clients' marriages, businesses and properties, before and after their death – information they can use to assist their clients’ exit planning as well as estate planning.

The presentation will also touch on trust contests and financial elder abuse litigation, which are increasingly important issues with today’s aging population.
