Valensi Rose is pleased to announce that Rachelle H. Cohen has joined the firm.
Her areas of practice include business and real estate transactions, estate planning, and legal ethics consulting.
Rachelle previously was a Partner with Kehr, Schiff, Crane & Cohen, LLP.
She serves as an outside “in-house” counsel to many of her clients, providing day-to-day guidance on legal challenges that arise in her clients’ businesses.
Rachelle speaks and writes frequently about business entities, transactions, and legal ethics. In addition, she has taught a course at the USC Gould School of Law on contract drafting and strategy.
A graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Business Administration, Rachelle earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law. She is admitted to the California bar.
Rachelle currently serves as Chair of the Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, has been a member of the Ethics Committee of the California Lawyers Association from 2019 to the present, and is a member of the Board of the Century City Bar Association.
She also is a member of the Corporations Committee of the Business Law Committee of the California Lawyers Association.
She has served the California Lawyers Association as a Chair of its Corporations Committee and Partnership and LLC Committee, and as a member of the Executive Committee of its Business Law Section.
