Lynda I. Chung will co-chair the Los Angeles County Bar Association Annual Trust and Estates Symposium on Friday, Oct. 16, at the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles.
Nicholas Van Brunt, a Partner at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, will co-chair the symposium.
Topics to be covered in the half-day program will include managing the risk of trust administration in today’s litigious environment; the use of artificial intelligence tools in trust and estate planning; and planning and administering a decedent’s overseas assets.

Lynda, a litigation partner at Valensi Rose, chairs the Trusts & Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She was recently included in Los Angeles Magazine’s Best of L.A. Legal directory in trust and estates, and has been designated a Southern California Super Lawyer in trusts and estates each year since 2019.
Her practice focuses on probate and trust litigation, including financial elder abuse, will and trust contests, disputes involving testamentary and contractual capacity, undue influence, fiduciary accountings, conservatorships, and litigation involving closely held businesses and family-owned entities.
In addition to her litigation practice, Lynda also serves as outside general counsel for family offices and high-net-worth individuals, advising clients on estate and succession planning, trust administration, governance, management of family assets, and the care of elderly family members.
