Valensi Rose counsels employers on labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and in connection with wage and hour, disability, leave, non-competition, trade secret, and equal pay issues.  We also provide advice on executive employment agreements, reorganizations, disciplines and discharges, accommodation requests, and in connection with harassment, discrimination, and retaliation allegations.

We conduct workplace investigations and prepare employment handbooks, arbitration agreements, and associated documents, in English and Spanish.  We also provide counsel on electronic onboarding procedures and timekeeping systems. 

We prepare responses to administrative charges and represent employers in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Civil Rights Department (formerly the Division of Fair Employment & Housing), and the California Labor Commission.

We also defend employers in class action lawsuits, and in wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation lawsuits and arbitrations, from inception through trial/arbitration and on appeal.
