Valensi Rose is proud to announce that Lynda I. Chung, a litigation partner with our firm, has been awarded The President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award by the White House.

Lynda was selected for the award by the Corporation for National and Community Service in recognition of Lynda’s “commitment to strengthen our nation and communities,” with special focus on her work in the area of environmental stewardship. It was presented to her at the annual gala of the Pacific American Volunteer Association.

An accompanying congratulatory statement signed by President Donald Trump says, “Your many hours of service have strengthened the bonds of cooperation and trust that bring people together, while helping to address some of the greatest challenge of our times.”

Lynda has long been active in Southern California’s Korean-American community, including serving on the boards of the Pacific American Volunteer Association, St. Vincent Medical Center and Korean American Family Services.

She is a member of the Korean American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and will soon serve on the Executive Committee of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
