Lynda I. Chung, a litigation partner with Valensi Rose, will moderate a panel at the Litigation Intensive Symposium to be held by the Trusts & Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association at the Hotel Indigo on April 25, 2026.
The discussion, titled “Motion Practice: Demurrer, Anti-SLAPP, MSA/MSJ,” will focus on law and motion issues in probate litigation.
The full-day conference is the L.A. County Bar association’s inaugural program on litigation presented by its Trust and Estates Section. Lynda currently serves as Vice Chair of the section’s Executive Committee.
The speakers on the panel include the Hon. Jessica A. Uzcategui and the Hon. Charles Q. Clay III, judges with the Los Angeles Superior Court; Matthew W. McMurtrey, Managing Partner of Sacks, Glazier, Franklin, Lodise, McMurtrey and Scheerer, LLP; and Matthew D. Kanin, with Ruttenberg Cutler Broomer LLP.
Lynda, who chairs the firm’s litigation group, specializes in probate and business litigation matters, including financial elder abuse by caregivers or family members, will and trust contests, disputes over settlors' capacity, undue influence, fiduciary accounting, and conservatorships.
Lynda also serves as outside general counsel for family offices and high-net-worth clients, providing general legal advice and guidance on estate and succession planning, trust administration, and managing the care of elder family members and assets.
