Rachelle Cohen will speak about ethical marketing practices for legal professionals on July 18 at a meeting of the California Lawyers Association.

Rachelle’s talk, titled “Ethical Marketing Strategies for Law Firms: Navigating Growth with Integrity,” will discuss ethical considerations of marketing activities, focusing on the needs of solo attorneys and small law firms. Topics will include using marketing and advertising effectively while complying with California’s Rules of Professional Conduct.

Joining Rachelle on the panel will be Ryan S. Little, of Little Legal, and Ana Sambold, of ADR Services, Inc.

The discussion will be part of a two-day conference, “Leveling Up Your Practice,” at Hotel Indigo in downtown Los Angeles.

On a similar topic, Rachelle will present for the American Law Institute on August 25 about “Making It Rain: A Practical Guide to Client Development.” Her talk will provide seasoned attorneys and new practitioners with practical strategies and ethical considerations for building their practices.

Rachelle, Managing Partner of Valensi Rose, is a member of the Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the California Lawyers Association.

Her areas of practice include business and real estate transactions, estate planning, and legal ethics consulting. She serves as an outside “in-house” counsel to many of her clients, providing day-to-day guidance on legal challenges that arise in their businesses.

Rachelle speaks and writes frequently about business entities and transactions and legal ethics. In addition, she has taught a course at the USC Gould School of Law on contract drafting and strategy.
