Lynda I. Chung, a litigation partner with Valensi Rose, will moderate a panel discussion on “Excellence in Diversity – Supervising Judge Brenda Penny’s Story,” a program hosted by the Trust & Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association on June 24, 2022.

The Honorable Brenda Penny will share her personal experience in practicing probate law for decades, from working as a private practitioner, to serving as a Probate Attorney of the Los Angeles Court, to being appointed as a Commissioner, Judge, and Supervising Judge of the Probate Department.

The panelists, in addition to Judge Penny and Lynda, include Julia Birkel, of Hill Farrer & Burrill; Jamie Gonzalez, of Oldman, Cooley, Sallus, Birnberg, Coleman & Gold; Sonya Sultan, of Sultan & Sultan; and J.D. Rees, of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton.
