Lynda I. Chung, a litigation partner with Valensi Rose, spoke at the Women’s Retreat program of the 32nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Korean Lawyers (“IAKL”) at the Korea University School of Law in Seoul, Korea, on September 24. IAKL members are legal professionals of Korean descent or with interests in Korea, located throughout the world.

Joining Lynda on the Women’s Retreat panel were: Liz (Kyo-Hwa) Chung, Korean General Counsel of Netflix; Mandy H. Kim, a patent trial lawyer at McDermott Will & Emery; Ashley Rasmussen, a tax practitioner with Stikeman Elliott, in Toronto; and Soyoung Yang, a prominent family lawyer and Managing Partner of the Soong In law firm, Seoul, Korea.

A member of our Litigation Group, Lynda specializes in probate and business litigation matters, including financial elder abuse by caregivers or family members, will and trust contests, disputes over settlors' capacity, undue influence, fiduciary accounting, and conservatorships.

Lynda also serves as outside general counsel for family offices and high-net-worth clients, providing general legal advice and guidance on estate and succession planning, trust administration, and managing the care of elder family members.
